Dance Trapeze

Shannon Roberts was first introduced to aerial arts in 2018, and everything made sense. She has been performing and teaching for 7 years, specializing in trapeze, silks and lyra. In 2023, she co-founded Biggest Little Circus. Recognizing the dearth of trapeze instruction in the Great Basin, Shannon aims to introduce students to both the unique qualities of the apparatus, as well as the areas of overlap with other disciplines. This is an intermediate-level workshop for experienced aerialists.

Participants in this workshop MUST have aerial experience, and be confident/proficient in the following:

• comfortably invert multiple times in the air

• minimum 10-second straight arm hang

• sustain movement in the air for at least 3 minutes without interruption
